Going keto. Just wondering how everyone else does it. I usually for the first couple weeks cut out everything with carbs including vegetables and all. Just protein and fat literally. After that ill add in some veggies. How different would anyone do this. Also need some great ideas on some dinners, snacks and all. With everyones input we could come up with some good stuff here. I love pork skins for snacks. Chicken, pork chops, basically any meet. Oh and a shit load of eggs.
 
I've done it in the past and I just cut carbs cold turkey and limited my daily carbs to two cups of cooked brown rice and never the second cup after about 3 pm. There was a period of about 25 days after about 10 days into it that I was losing a pound a day. It was fucking nuts. Its hard to get into that mode. I love me some carbs.
 
What about caffeine. Is it ok to consume caffeine while in ketosis. I would think not since u want all your energy coming from fat.

Take my advice. Gorge yourself right now. Every keto food, right now, go nuts.

The more keto foods you eat now the faster and deeper you will get into ketosis and avoid the KETO FLU.

Bacon
CheeseBurger (Bunless)
Brocolli Cheese Soup (homemade, low carb)
Taco Salad (sour cream, cheese, guac, hooray!!!)
Olive Oil (drink it)
Salami
Pepperoni (fry em')
Pork Rinds (dip em in sour cream)
STEAK
bacon
chicken thighs
canned whip cream (choco flavor yum)
