Help! with Filtering Brew

testquest

I just made 50ml of 400/1 Test E.

Problem is.. My stericup 22um is not filtering properly. I can't get it to suck to the bottom. My hand pump works.. :crap:

Here's my setup :

I thought all I had to do was pump.. :bber:

The there seems to be no suction. Was I supposed to do something before pouring in the oil? I literally just removed the plastic lid and poured warm oil in...

Was there some kind of removable plate on the filter that I failed to see? I tried not to touch it so i just poured the oil right right in.

Anybody with experience please chime in. This is upsetting.
:embarrass

I threw it out. Baked it instead.

testquest, it should not be like this for sure, maybe it was somewhere the hole which not let the pressure to appear.

did you just bake it without filtration?
how much long and at which degree?

no pain or fever problem afterwards injection?

Well..that's the way it was.

Yeah I wish I had filtered it, perhaps it would have been smoother. It does go through a 28 gauge though.

I baked it from
250°F - 290
°F about 20-25 minutes.

As for degradation: It was 400/1 so it should still be adequate for my needs. I had no choice. In a few weeks I will make a new batch if this one is giving me problems.

ChemMan, What do you mean fever?

Wish I saw this earlier, sorry bro. But yes there was another little plastic part you had to peel off on the other side of the filter. They usually are white though you can plainly see them. You should have unscrewed the top part and checked it out. You have to create a seal tight bond between the two side and the top of the filter . Then pump vigorously until it starts coming through slowly. Then pump at a steady pace. The seal have to be perfect or you ain't filtering shit.

Did you try to inject it? and no problems with redness and lump in injection site?

Fever- i mean the rise of body temperature? Something like Flu symptoms ?it did not happen to you?

thank you!

My pumps have been loosing pressure easily and I have to pump the whole time. This happened with two pumps that are a few years old. I'm gonna buy a new one and see if that fixes the problem.

This kind of filter used to be so easy to use and awesome, so it has to be the pump.

I just went through the same thing. I put a shorter tube on the pump (about 2") and it worked fine. I have no clue why either.
