Snuff vs. E-cigs

Quick question to all- I've been a long time user of smokeless tobacco (30yrs) and have recently heard of a new thing called "Vaping" as an alternative to cigs and snuff. Anyone know about this.? Supposedly the product only has 4 ingredients - propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, natural flavors and nicotine. I know anything other than air going to the lungs is bad just wondering if this might be a safer alternative than the dip.

From what I understand, it is far safer than tobacco. You can still get cancer from smokeless tobacco. It isn't just the smoke that's dangerous. The only thing they've shown might be bad with "vaping" is the nicotine addiction.

someone posted studies here not long ago on nicotine, and its benefits in losing weight, benefits in alertness, concentration, and it also showed to raise test scores, just a little FYI i suppose lol

Vaping can make nicotine use much easier to quit eventually if that is the goal. They have different concentrations, and you can move down as time passes. It is supposed to be safer than smoking cigarettes because it does not have all the other chemicals found in cigarettes. The only problem is that you don't know what problems can occur from inhaling the few chemicals found in the liquid that is being used over the long term.
