Teapot filtration for brew?

Since I've read people use coffee filters in a pinch I was just curious how gheto this would be to use to make brew. Obviously it would be used solely for brewing aas. Not coffee then a batch. I bet someone has tried it.

I think I will just stick to my Milipore filtration system. Its $12 and the end results give me confidence which is priceless.
