What pisses me off it's fucking Warren Hatch leading this charge. Hatch? He's the fucker who supports the supplement industry to NOT post ingredient lists. Talk about a hipocrite who wants "to save children and families" from disguised supplements. How about not allowing supplement companies rip consumers off but even better, how about you let the people decide what to take and what not to take and do their own research.

Orrin* Hatch is from Utah. He was actually in many ways a pioneer. He allowed for the supplement industry to flourish. Much of the industry is in his states so there is a clear tax incentive.

Spell check lol. Absolutely correct. The supplement industry can scoop dog shit and stick it in a container, label it and say it grows muscle. If people believe it then that's there fault but don't create an industry that has no liability if what they sell works or is safe for that matter as it says on labels that it is not approved by the FDA. But don't go around and say something that is not controlled by the big supplement manufacturers and say you're doing it to protect us.
 
This bill was originally introduced back in July 2012 where it died in committee. The senator sponsoring this bill is a junior senator from Rhode Island, and he appears to have Orrin Hatch's backing on it. It is most certainly hypocritical for Hatch to give any backing to this bill when he is the one who pushed for having no regulation of the supplement industry. I suppose he think's he can back supplements as long as they don't build any muscle (or build muscle through any pathway similar to testosterone)? Isn't that what more than half of all supplements are for? Someone please educate this senator Sheldon Whitehouse, who seems only to be attempting to make a name for himself, that testosterone is not a bad thing.

Yea, I read that, he sucked, that's why he couldn't make his college team. There's plenty of guys who are natural in professional sports still able to compete with the juiced ones, he just wasn't one of them
