Anybody know about watches?

I've never owned one. As I get older I'm finding myself wanting one. At first I really liked the Bulova Precisionist, but at about $1,000 I thought Id start smaller. I like the Citizen Eco Drive here

It's like $220 on Amazon. Very reasonable I think

Nice watch! Well made and will last. If you like a big bold dive style watch, check out Invicta watches. I have a couple and I love em! Well made, not to spendy, swiss movement, good service. You can find them at reasonable prices on ShopNBC. But, if you're like me and end up buying more then one, don't tell your wife who I am! Mine gets pissed when she sees a new one come in the mail! Thinks I should spend the cash on her I guess.

It was $325. I bought it a few months ago off ShopNBC. Invicta has a ton of styles and prices to choose from.

I don't think I could pull off that watch... it is cool... just too much for me. I've always had decent luck with skagen

Nice looking watches. Clean lines. Like I said, I'm a dive watch guy, and I actually dive, so I want a watch that works for that hobby. Plus, I like a big fuckin watch. Just a style thing in that regard.

Oh ok dive watch. That explains it cool. Form and function. It's a cool watch just big. I'd feel wierd wearing it you know. I like to blend in...stay in the shadows.:suspect:

Dude check out luminox and swiss army victrinox watches on amazon. They are both great quality and classy. Both have swiss movements too. Citizens are nice too. I own all three watches. The luminox is military grade and by far the most rugged and the swiss army is the dressiest. The Citizen is very nice too and I shopped well and got those watches for under $800 TOTAL!

Bro those Luminox watches are REALLY nice!!
As an Anniversary gift I got Silk a pretty nice one and she got me one. If I like having a watch I'm sure it won't be my last. I've already saved a Luminox that I really like

Yeah I love mine and got a rubber watch band as well so it doubles as the rubber kind and the steel band kind. I never get tired of it that way.

So I got the Citizen and really like it. Went into the local Jeweler today to check out the Omega's (I can't afford a Rolex and don't know if I'd want one if I could) and found myself constantly drawn to the Seiko's in the same price range.
Totally honest, I want an Omega b/c of the name and associated retention of value. I'm not sure if the same applies to the high end Seiko's. Anyone have any insight?

I'm a bit of a watch collector. I think I have about 30 by now! The majority of my watches are bought from Cool Watches, Unique Watches, Unusual Watch designs, Cool Watch Brands & Modern Watches Here are a few from my instagram. I obviously like "different" watches. There's a brand out there called "Devon" with a $25,000 watch! That shit is one of the first things I'll buy if I ever get rich! That is some unique taste you've got there Bro! I'm big into my knife collecting (even though I only have maybe 8 right now). I get two a month usually at $150 - $200 and sometimes more a month so I don't want to get bit by the watch bug.
There are some really nice watches in the $200 - $300 range, so I'd like to just top off my watches with one or two everyday watches and one NICE Moneybags watch.

It's $3800 on Amazon, but $6,000 at the local shop...

I love my Bulova and I also have a fancy military one I usually wear has all the crap Macgyver would use. Get one you like and can afford, remember of it has moving parts it will break..
