Milk

Does anybody else drink alot of milk these days. I love milk and go through a gallon EOD. I have scaled back to 1% milk and it did take some getting used to. I know it is high in carbs and perhaps thats why I drink so much. Just curious and would like to hear other opinions. Thanks..

I honest to GOD drank at least a Gallon a day, cheap good protein, but over time it started hurting my stomach, but yeah i drank shit loads daily for a long time, loved it, i still love milk, but can't nearly drink as much now days, and i only drink whole milk, i can't take the watered down 1 and 2 % milk.

Actually I just got some NesQuick from BJ's to go with my Whole Milk lmao, Break, Lunch and Dinner of champions lol, kidding of course but it is my snack when i need a sweet tooth item! My last NesQuick last me so long that the powder looked like the sugar fell out of it, very weird looking when the shit gets that old, so i tossed it, and i suppose I'm forced to use up the powder faster this time lmao!!!

damn i thought i drank a lot of milk i got kids so we go through a gallon EOD but i probably go through maybe half a gallon a day

i love milk but on its own give me a bad gut for some reason..used to always have it in my shake but as im on the road alot lately i use water...
back in my work lodge from next month so back to fresh milk..

I've always consumed a lot of milk, but as I've gotten older its been harder to do. Irritates my stomach and makes me gassy. I still go through probably a gallon every 5-7 days. (2%) I use it (with about a cup of yogurt) when making my protein shakes.
I buy all my meats, chicken, fish, eggs organic... especially milk. We have a great local dairy farmer here who's milk is night & day better than store brand. Only problem is its 6 bucks a gallon as opposed to around 3 for the other brands.
My wife drinks soy milk, but I just can't drink that stuff by itself. It's fine in protein shakes or coffee...other than that, give me the real stuff!

I was never a milk person. I remember friends in high school would cry if they didn't have milk lol.

I think it's good but I'd be careful with how it's made now a days. I live in a state where raw milk can be sold and bought and the farm always has trouble keeping it on hand with huge lines on the weekends. Id love to try some raw milk

Ovaltine bro.

A strongman competitor I used to train with swore by drinking a half gallon of chocolate milk after training. I don't know if it was for the calories, recovery or just the protein but he drank it religiously after training

You know there is a few extra grams of protein in the lowfat and nonfat milk per serving. All in all I pretty much read that the fat in milk is a good fat and good for losing weight. There are just a hell of a lot of carbs in milk though. The regular whole milk probably won't spike insulin levels as much too.

I did not realize that milk could spike insulin levels. Lately I have been experiencing some tingling in my feet. Im hoping that it is not the beginning of diabetic foot pain. If the two are even related that is.
