Tonight's dinner: Grilled Ahi Tuna steaks:
Brush on a little olive oil, both sides (this fish is VERY lean, not much oil or fat of its own);
Seasoned with a little salt and pepper
Seared at high heat - highest the grill will go - mine is about 550. Sear for about a minute each side and yank it off. This will leave it rare, dark pink in the middle.
Served with a salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing and sunflower seeds.
Quick, tasty dinner! Only drawback is Ahi Tuna is a little pricey.
It could also be pan seared; I'm thinking about crusting it with pistachios next time...
