USP oil or USP filtered oil?

The company I'm getting my oil from offers USP Grapeseed oil and the same oil that they filtered through a .22 micron filter. The filtered version is over 3x more expensive than the non-filtered version.

Would it be okay for me to prepare my injectable solution with the USP Grapeseed oil that hasn't been filtered, heat it like normal (which should sterilize it itself) and then filter the prepared solution through my own .22 micron filter?

I read somewhere that sterilizing oil for injections requires many steps that also involve removing some of the oil. Here's what I read on a different forum:

1. Allow oil to sit undisturbed for 7 to 10 days.
2. Using a sterile 20cc irrigation syringe decant the top 1/3 of oil.
3. Place oil into pyrex container and heat to 275 degrees for 45 mins.
4. Place oil into testtubes and centrifuge at 1500 rpm for 10 mins.
5. Decant all but the last 3ml or so from the centrifuge containers into sterile vial.

6. Use in preparation of injectable product.

Would these steps be necessary for the non-filtered USP oil, or can I just do what I described above? Or... would it be best to just get their filtered USP oil and do my original plan (prep & filter)?

ok if u want to you can go to the store and go buy some gso ect cheap like 2-3 £$
dont bother with the pre filter pre sterile stuff u are going to filter it any way
make up your AAS no need to heat oil to sterilise just run it through a 0.2 filter that will get rid of any thing..dont use a .4 use a .2 and u are good to go..warm oil for a better filter run job done..
the smallist nasty u can get is 0.3 so once filtered the BA BB will keep every thing sterile..

but nothing wrong with being anal about using good quality oil i buy the usp oil as well...but as stated above if u wanted you could just use store brought stuff..

you stated above that you will heat oil..is that heat to sterilse or heat to mix compounds..
if its heat to sterilise why do this as you are going to mix your unsterile steroid in a unsterile beaker with an unsterile mixing rod in an unsterile room ....see where im going with this right?..any how food for thought..just please dont eat the finnished product..thats a joke by the way..lol..

Thanks charlie, I'll just get the normal USP grade oil. When I said heat I was referring to actually mixing the compound into the solution, since I could also use enough heat and time to sterilize the oil as well. However, I won't bother with that, I'll just cook it normally and filter it with a .22 micron filter.

I use USP Pre-Filtered GSO, then when im done mixing, filter again, That may seem like overkill but Im Injecting this into my Body, so theres no such thing as too sterile for me. I know some people Buy GSO at the Grocery store, Whatever floats your boat, But thats not my cup "O" tea.
