Also I do about an hr of cardio in a wk

200-POUND MALE
High Days: 5-7 meals totalling 200-250g protein, 400-600g carbs, and low fat
Medium Days: 5-7 meals totaling 300-350g protein, 150-250g carbs, and 50-70g fat
Low Days: 5-7 meals totaling 300-350g protein, 75-125g carbs, and 75-100g fat

For me I had to learn my body eveybody reacts different sum meatabolism may be faster than others. Also I am 37 and I cant eat what I could when I was 25 and stay lean. I dont really count my intake daily except for carbs I keep them around 100 g or less and I will double that about 3 times a week.Keeping protein high always around 250- 300g a day. Also I only eat waht I cook no fast food only eat out once or twice a month and when I do I am conscious of what I eat. Also I see you are taking IGF which allows for you to not have to be as strict on carbs and gain solid muscle with out the fat.

How tall are you?
I based this on 5'11" height so if you are taller or shorter it will vary. This will be almost identical to my bulk.
Calories for bulking 3400-3800
Carbs 350-400
Protein 250-300
Clean food only! No junk, no fast food.
1 cheat meal a week

I wouldn't change your eating too much, except make sure you are getting lots of protein. Eat as little carbs as necessary for energy and backfill with fat to increase calories.

Viciouscycles sounds a bit like mine. Im at the point in life where dieting is no fun so every excuse that I can find to bulk is fine for me.

Why do you guys do this bulking and cutting shit? Just eat the same way year round. Eat very high calories and adjust your macros to fit your metabolic type. Then dieting to get super lean becomes a joke and a much shorter process.

Going by your weight and height and workout routine I would say..... let me break this down....your resting metabolism is right around 2450. That is right in the middle of light/moderate activity level. Throwing the average workout on top of that from my experience with a heart rate monitor is 625 - 700 calories. That is without cardio. Just lifting for like...an hour to an hour and a half. The more intense workouts and leg days and cardio being closer to 700. So...

RM = 2450 calories + (625 x 5) + 1400 + 600(cardio)/7 days a week = 3182 average a day. So that is a good place to start. I would just eat an extra small meal a day on Test and proviron to bring it up around 3500. Once you add in the IGF you can add in more pasta or carbs. Preferably around your workouts. Since test and IGF will make your food consumption more effecient and your body more anabolic you could lower your calories to below maintainence level and still probably make 100% of your gains and cut a little bit more bodyfat %. Since your goal is to bulk meaning put on 110% and as much muscle as possible. I would stay around 3500 and enjoy eating a lot of healthy/semi healthy food. Maybe eating an extra carb meal on leg days and days of cardio to bring it to 3800 calories. But this is just an estimate.

Some good advice in here. Rays hit it on the nose with his equation. Remember that is a starting point and a maintenance amount. I would add 500 to that to put you at ~3700 cals daily. If you notice you are putting on excess amount of fat then adjust down. If you are putting on no fat then adjust up. IMO to get the most potential from a bulk you should put on a little fat to give yourself the best opportunity for putting on muscle. In reason of course. Not talking about eating fast food or junk and getting a belly. lol.

As far as Macros go there are many ways to do that. I use 40/40/20 most days when bulking and of course everyday can be a little different. Go luck to you bro on your bulk! Let us know how the progress goes on your first cycle!
