I just had a moment of clarity and realized I have been eating in morning as I rush out door to work and going most of the day without eating I mean I think about it then just get caught up with work and the next thing I know its 3:30 and I still havent ate. So I snack cause I know I'm going home for supper. I get home eat a good meal but because I havent ate most of the day I find my self binge eating after the family goes sleep. I know this needs to stop and the fact that I have aknowledged this makes it abit easier to deal with but Im not happy but cant seem to snap this habit at work. Any advice or help would be greatly apperciated.
Thanks

The key to success when it comes to diet, gaining muscle or losing fat is prepping. You have to plan for the days ahead. I do good prep on Sunday and Wednesday nights. That helps meat to stay more fresh.

prepare and bring your food. I get up early and make my food for the day. Sometimes I dont have time to finish
it all but try to snack on small amounts during the day. Guys joke about my 'carry on' (luggage joke) cus my
lunch box is so big. I keep two ice packs in it cus I like my drinks cold. I know, sometimes its hard to eat well, I
am always trying to improve in my eating habits. I think it can be way better but compared to what most of the other guys
are doing its pretty good. This shit aint easy. lol

Yeah I do my lunchbox is packed eveyday example tody 3 eggs, chix breast, muscle milk rtd shake, some almonds and a chix salad sandwich on some sandwich thins and at lunch ill probably grab a grilled chix salad or soomething like that. So having food on hand isnt really the issue I just never seem to get to it I know it sound f$%^&* up but I really dont know how to explain it. I'am going to start making a conscious effort to eat like I said cant really explain it but I really need to fix it so I will eat something right now lololololol

Ultimately u have to make the decision do u wanna be serious and look like you work out or just be another joe at the gym. Here is my take food is as important as the wo so i plan my meals just like my wo and adjust as needed once u figure ur body out its easy to mange. At 37 I wake up every morning and look in the mirror to a sculpted six pack it makes every thing I have to do worth it. Also the chicks go crazy for a man with abs and muscles LOL

Just set an alarm on your phone every 2-3 hours and then eat what you can and be done with it. Small step brutha

i find i diet easier when i have everything already premade, planned, and i'm on a strict wakeup, sleep, and work, schedule...that's why when i'm dieting i save my cheats for my days off work...have you tried that? strict m-f then binge on each of your solid food meals on sat/sun?

I think the text thing from wife will help I got in all my food I packed yesterday and things are going well today. I will just keep an eye on it, I have also set a pop up on my pc at work to signal my to stop and eat.
very little cheat last night slipped abit wife made carrot muffins and they are good she keeps them low on sugar and fat so if I had to do it that was really not a bad option.
thanks for advice and encouragement all

Teeg I have same issue about 50% of the time and I own a gym.....but I am also at everyones beckon call, plus I train a lot of people and I barley have time to wolf down some food between clients and dealing with employees issues and so on. Then like you said, at night its nothing but a big food feast as I try to make it all up

Heres one for everyone on MC. Have any of you ever stoped training due to you are either starving or you are behind for calories for the day? I deal with this all the time, half the time I do finish a body part, eat, and come back an hr later to finish my WO

I work out primarily at night around 8 pm if I don't have at least 3 meals in I will not workout period. Ideally I like to have 4-5 meals in by then as well as a gallon of water. I am a huge believer in feeding my muscle and blood volume training.

The survivor: I used to work in the gym and that is the worst being in the gym all day really demotivates you. I felt like I have been here all day I don't want to work out at all. I would tell all my clients my goals and in return they respected when I had to eat because I would exude to them that is where results come from.

Your right on about the gym part, it changes when yr hobby becomes your means of living. I almost opened up a scuba dive store a long time ago until someone pointed that out to me.
