so peeps say tht deca dosnt need tht much ba.... so why do i see all kinds of recipes with 5% ba recipes out there ???? 5% seems alittle high for any compound brew.... can anyone explain.. thanks

you right.. i always do 2% even when doing high concentrations,,,, from what ive understood 2ml of ba per 100ml is enough to keep it sterile.. no matter the concentration... ba is what give the pip.. but i could be wrong,, just going by my experience with brewing.. just wanted somebody to break it down for me.. always wanting to learn more and more..

some chemical substances do not need the solvent in a high concentration to dissolve them. Deca/NPP is one of those substances and honestly I use roughly a 1.5% recipe or 1.5mls for every 20mls at 250mgs/ml

I don't use much BB either, its a solvent but its also a thinner and helps the saturation of the compound to dissolve and remain saturated in a carrier.
Deca is very easy to work with and NPP as well when it comes to using very little solvent.

thanks yall... i appreciate your responses... i do 100 to 500ml at a time.. so in the future ill use a 1.5%n ratio... thanks :)

Your welcome bro. Do you just use BA in deca? I know a lot who do and I am one who only uses BA in my deca and I heat it to a about 140 to saturate it in the solvent and never had an issues and you can run deca to 300 with 2% or less solvent (BA-BB).
Has anyone else made deca with just BA?

If you look at a lot of pharm grade stuff, it says BA content is something like 0.9% so a lot is not needed. When I have brewed in the past, I only used 1% and have never had any issues with sterility. But my equipment has been absolutely sterile and I am anal about that, so take that into consideration.

About the Deca and BA only, yes I have done that in the past. I've also done Test E that way too. and of course, back in the day with the pellets.. that was fun times.

Thanks for the input bro. Yeah I have been brewing that way for years, I just see a ton of recipes that also have BB in it. I guess im old school and only use Bb to thin or with high mg concentrations with lighter oils. BB does not add any sterility to the mix, its a solvent and a thinner, not always needed.
I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one, thinking im so old school I missed something lol

last brew on npp & nandro i use only 10% bb but im going to try no bb in it next time as well..
