Blood test question

I went to Dr for stomach cramps and shes not concerned at all, but she ordered blood test which I did yesterday. Nurse calls back and says my liver values were mildly elevated and the Dr wants more tests I would assume to get more answers. Like the secretive person I am, she knows I BB and asked me if I was drugging which I answered in the negative (probably a mistake) and now I'm afraid shes going to find out I have been.

Can "slight" elevated levels be sworn off as natural? I already told her I rarely drink, so cant use alcohol as reason. I guess I could cancel the 2nd test to avoid all this. FWIW, I'm only on 400 mg of Test per wk.

What you guys think? Just fess up with her?

depends on your levels. slightly elevated liver enzymes could be be freom the fact that you just worked out the previous day as well

FUCK NO!!! Don't tell them nothing, it will go down in your medical report-tell them you take Tylenol daily

go back and read my thread called LIE TO YOUR DOCTOR-there isn't an insurance company that would touch me if they read what that doctor wrote in that report

I meant to use the word mildly elevated, would me using the gel possibly cause this?

for what your using-no

are you taking any medication over the counter or prescription? do you eat much fried food?

when you got the blood work done how long since your last workout? this will effect it...don't workout for at least 3 days before blood work

how high were the values?

400mg of Test a week shouldnt raise your liver tests. These fellas here are asking the right questions. A daily dose of Tylenol is a good excuse.... wink wink

A simple stomach bug can make your enzymes rise. It has mine. Dont sweat the test bro, if she finds out and says something which she probably wont, then it will still be ok lol.

Thanks to all who replied, Dorian I did read yr thread, I'd be pissed as hell too if my Dr ratted me out.

Thing is, I know why my values are mildly elevated so further testing is moot. Trying to tell my Dr that w/o spilling the beans is the challenge. When Dr ordered a w 2nd test, i assume she will be checking my testosterone levels and I'm also taking Decca, can she also check for that?

I think my best call here is to drop the entire thing. Hope my cramps were a passing thing and hope that I'll never get them again. And if clinic calls, just blow themn off. Like Dorain said, my insurance Co would drop me pronto if they found out

My liver enzymes have always been elevated; even before I started using AAS. My doctor had me go through a live scan to rule out cancer. Turns out that I have a fatty liver. I hope to address the fatty liver issue with NAC or Tudca. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Here's something I found on Fatty Liver Disease. Not sure it'll helpyou, but it helped me understand "Fatty Liver Disease" more.

[h=1]Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease[/h]"Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), also known as steatohepatitis, is an inflammation of the liver caused by an accumulation of fat deposits in the liver tissue. In most people, the underlying problem is obesity, diabetes or both. Additional factors are a family history of diabetes and high blood lipids in people who are not obese. In some patients, genetic factors appear to be important.
NAFLD typically shows up as an unexpected abnormality in liver function tests, usually the alanine aminotransferase (ALT) test, in people who otherwise feel well. The elevation of this test generally is minor and in younger patients, does not indicate a serious liver condition. However, if the cause of NAFLD, such as obesity or diabetes, is not treated, the condition may progress.
In people over the age of 50, the first indication of NAFLD may be a sign of serious liver disease, cirrhosis. Studies are underway to determine the precise risk of progression of NAFLD to cirrhosis; at this time, it is estimated as 20 percent.
As the prevalence of obesity has been increasing in the United States, the incidence of NAFLD also has been increasing. As a result, NAFLD is now among the most common reasons that patients are referred for liver transplantation. The UCSF Liver Transplant Program, which integrates the efforts of gastroenterologists and surgeons, performs over 100 transplants each year, making it one of the leading programs in the U.S. Survival statistics are among the very best in the country."

Currently, the goal of treatment for NAFLD patients who are obese and/or have elevated blood lipids (fat) is weight loss. Those who are diabetic with poor control of blood sugar should work with a diabetes specialist and dietitian to control their blood sugar. All patients with NAFLD should avoid alcohol.
The treatment for NAFLD is evolving and rigorously being investigated in various research studies. UCSF is participating in one of the larger trials investigating NAFLD and new therapies for the condition.

I'm still researching some Hollistic Medicine cures for this......

I'm pretty sure your test will come back pretty hight at 400mg a week. Mine is 1600 on 300mg/wk.if you don't think your doctor will be cool about it then skip the test.
my doctor knows I run, He is very cool about it. He doesn't support it,but he does help me when needed.
nothing ever goes in my record. All bloods that are done when I'm on cycle are done privately then emailed or sent by text to him. I had a touch of gyno recently, he wrote me a script for ralaxofine and arimidex. And used Trt as a cause for the script.

Well I had a ultrasound last week, and now it was discovered that my spleen is inflammed (which may have caused the pain I get once in a while) plus each one of my kidneys has a one centimeter cyst on it. Kinda disturbing, but I know cysts rarely are cancerous, but the spleen inflammed could mean liver disease and some other conditions that I really dont want to think about.

I really dont want my Dr to press the issue of another blood test as I'm sure she suspects gear use although I denied it. I suppose I can turn down the blood test and concentrate on the spleen and kidney issues.

I changed my mind, I'm gonna have to roll the dice and hope my Dr wont throw me under the bus, but in order to get 100% well, I'm gonna fess up to her about gear. i expect to hear the usual lecture abt steroids being the devils workshop etc. thats OK, she can preach all she wants, I highly doubt shes educated in that area anyway, she will just spew what shes supposed to say....

Guess will call her and make appt, arghhbhhh
