MY RAW DECA HAS LIQUIFIED

I have some raw deca that has turned into a blackish goo after being subjected to heat where I stored it. My question to all you home brew gurus out there, including PowderGuy, is it still good to brew up, or am I fucked?

That is one for Powderguy unless someone else had a similar experience with Deca. If it turned into a clearer looking liquid similar to how EQ looks, then I'd say go for it. But, I'm sure you wouldnt have even posted this if that was the case. The blackish color is whats throwing me Brother....

I read that Test E will turn black if it gets too old and/or oxidizes.... Not sure about that though cause like I said, its just something I read.

Can you post pics? It can be oxidation or mold.

I've had mine turn in to a bag of liquid, never black though.. just throw it in the freezer until it becomes solid again.as far as the black I have no idea?
How hot did it get??

Black is no good. It is mold from moisture and the oxidation process from extreme heat. The main concern is the humidity. I try to address this with everyone doing their own, you have to consider this when storing your Raws and even when making your own, moisture will severely degrade your product-and remember your using food products as a carrier they do have an expiration date.
Im sorry bro but trash it and start over.

Thanks Powderguy. I live in California and it sat in the unopened box that it came in. We had a HOT summer, and it was stored in a non-airconditioned place. I actually forgot that I had it. Then I ran across it and opened it up to find a blackish liquified sticky substance, but not gooey like EQ. I'm not taking any chances. I will toss it out. Thanks again.

That's frustrating, I keep mine in an airtight container, pressure sealed. You can buy them in almost any size. They keep out, moisture, sunlight, air and preserve the powder well. I use Human grade which is usually pretty expensive so I definitely don't want to waste it. But I hear ya on the Deca, 50 grams is a lot to throw away, I wasted 50 grams trying to make a test base injectable in oil that was stable..i guess i didn't really waste it though, injectable didn't hold stable so I just drank it lol
