Reaching natural potential.

So I had blood work done and my liver and kidney function are normal, my cholesterol levels are optimal and my test was 420ng/dL (blood was drawn in the AM). A previous testosterone reading done in the late afternoon yielded a result of 360.

However, I've been putting off starting my test cycle because I keep reading that I shouldn't mess with anything till I'm certain I've reached my full natural potential first. Is this sound advice I should follow or am I being an overly cautious wuss? I'm 36, by the way.

It's always idea to reach natural potential
However that's potentially 15 or 20 years if it were to be takin seriously or at least 5 to 10 minimally.
IMHO, with a test level like that knowing "normal" is 300 to a roughly 900 it's obviously going to be leaps and bounds harder if your not cranking that anabolic hormone at 100 or he'll even 70% it's max.
Be that as it may I'd never be one to push my opinion on another especially if they're nervous all I know is with a board as supportive and knowledgeable as this you'd be making a wise decision following advice from those here.
I'm sure since your in a "healthy range" doc said no grade A test for you? If you do plan on starting I'm a big advocate of just 500mg test e a week. Perhaps even a trt type dose like 250 a week would be good dose for you to try? Just feel good no sides type deal

Sounds like you could actually benefit from a trt dose as low as 200 a week which would probably put your test levels at about a respectable 800-1200. Thats slightly normal-high and would still leave you lots of room to bump the test up many levels from that as time moves on and your more comfortable with the changes.

yes that is always the best advice! at 36 you may have reached your full natural potential. How long have u been training?
