Hot plate recommendations

I have decided to buy a hot plate for my brewing needs. Looking for recommendations from people who use hot plate method as to a good one to buy. So post em up brothers.

There are too many just find one priced right and try to find some reviews ahead of time

if you're going to get serious about brewing, spend the money on a good one, don't get a lower-end model because you'll end up buying a better one eventually. i wish this hobby wasn't so expensive lol

Pristi good advice. You might as well get the hot plate and magnetic stirred which I beleivr the link covered that. Just check pricing and reviews. EBay and such is a good place but don't buy used and be careful because they will advertise a brand name and you will receive a generic look a like but I got crimpers that way that were better then Kebby but we're sold as the brand but the ones Ive has for two years are bwttter abd provide a perfect and tighter seal just like the real west ward flips are better than the games around. You will know the fakes they will be loose and spin when I can get the real ones just as cheap. Good luck. Med lab sells good equipment and lemlange and I appologize if im not suppose to name places abd can edit if needded but it will be a good 300 for a anything decent. When it comes to this you want a good one so it doesn't heat to fast which makes junk end product and can make it painfuo by heating to fast and you want each hormone at a specific temp and for a certain time and you will have perfect product and its hard to tell but raw purity will effect temp where pure tra needs to be heated higher than less pure. And it gets heated a bit higher than most but it took me a while playing around to get my temps recorded and now by memory but it makes aq difference. I dint know how many of you have ever received tra with swirls or its cloudy. Thats not made correct and needed more heat or longer and a few degrees celcius can make a difference. But good luck I'm sure you will be fine. And enjoy. It s nice having a stirreer. And consider temps to BA evaporation point of close I put BA in last while cooling to be filtered.
