I do this on occasion but don't beleive I lean forward that much when bringing the bar down. I don't see what's wrong with it. I like to go light and really focus on a squeeze on this one
I do the exact same thing. Some say its not good but I use a wide grip and sometimes alternate to the top part of my chest and back of the neck. I like this exercise and goes well with dumbbell rows. So I guess its up to the individual-I looked it up and theres nothing bad about this exercise, its also one that was used by Dorian yates.
Lol there is tons of info on how a behind the neck lat pulldown is horrible for your shoulder. It's completely contraindicated. I would never do it. There are so many other exercises to do. There is no reason to risk shoulder injury.
Hey I couldn't find the info about how its bad for shoulders, could you post that? That would make a good read too. Thanks bro. I don't want to cause myself injury pulling 260lbs to the back of my next like this.
