tips?

I need more energy when I go to the gym. I seem so drained lately. I eat pretty good but it just seems like it's not cutting it.. any one have any ideas of what I can do?
 
I sometimes pop 200mg of caffiene about 20 minutes before I go. Works best on an empty stomach. Sometimes i take an ECA.
 
What time of day do you workout and what do you eat beforehand, if anything? THis morning I did an experiment and just had half a peanut butter & honey sandwich before lifting. Leg day, too. I felt weak and sick. The workout took forever! I've found I feel better and can lift more intensely if I've had a meal or two before I train. Therms can work, too.
 
But if I eat to much that isn't good either. Because then I just feel weighed down and lazy. Which is why I was wondering if there were some foods.. or pills such as caffeine.. that worked well for people. Yesterday I tried oatmeal... it worked pretty well but I cant say I like the stuff..
 
I take an ECA about a half hour before workouts.....sometimes I forget to take it, and I do notice a bit of a diffrence. Though, some days nothing would help except maybe some speed...lol.
 
YUP.....there are tons of them out there....I like Thermadrene by SportPharma.....works good and its cheap, I only pay $15 for 60 caps at Gold Gym.
 
Thanks.. I work out at a golds as well so I'll check that out tonight.. I used to use hydroxcut but I don't sleep very well when I am on it..
 
First I want to welcome you to MC...I have been real busy and FINALLY got a few free minutes to spend here on the board. :)

I take ECA for that extra kick to get me going at the gym it works really good. If you plan on taking it make sure you take it early because like Hydroxycut this will most definitely keep you up at nite. Also ECA is really cheap...a big plus:)
