Advodart and Gear

Any guys here have info on using Advodart and Test.? I have high PSA, I've been checked for Cancer with Biopsy and MRI with negative results. My doctor put me on Advodart I was wondering if you can use Advodart with Gear. I know the basics of the med Advodart, which is to block DHT or prevent test from turning into DHT. Any info, suggestions?

Thanks Pressure I have done the search with no results. I have an Enlarged Prostate and when I taje hear it gets pissy and PSA goes up Dr put me on Advodart so I was wondering if anybody uses gear while they are on the Advodart. I've been checked for canxer and so far clean results. But would like to continue using test at least. Any info??

Well, first it is spelled avodart. That makes searching easier. Taking testosterone will increase your PSA, so don't bother to get a PSA if your are on the juice. Same thing with creatine. It skews your kidney tests like bun/creatinin. Giving a false result. There is an article in Mus. dev. mag.,Jan.,2010 that discusses avodart use, There is an enzyme called 5 alpha-reductase. This enzyme converts testosterone to the more androgenic DHT. Avodart(dutatsteride) is called a 5 alpha-reductase inhibitor. It blocks the enzyme from converting test to DHT. Studies have shown that use of avodart will increase testosterone levels in the blood stream. It's main use is to decrease the size of the prostate by reducing levels of DHT. Which is the hormone that causes the prostate to enlarge.
One negative effect mentioned in the article was that avodart and proscar reduced levels of other hormones in the study. Mainly neurosteroids that alter emotions and mood. In my personal experience with avodart , I never noticed any mood changes.

I really think this avodart would do me some good! I think I'm going to ask my doctor about it, as he knows i have an enlarged prostate however my PSA was normal last blood panel, but you don't need high PSA to have an enlarged prostate, so id like to give this stuff a go and see how it works for me
