Cheat days on cycle?

How many of u guys work in a cheat day? I personally tend to do this once a week. Usually on a Sunday. I always train that morning and then in the afternoon go off the usual diet. Nothing crazy, but extra food and stuff I may normally not eat. I'm not really cutting now or prepping for anything so I feel it's OK and nice boost to the metabolism. Not to mention the mental aspect. Anyone else?

nope, when truly dieting down for a show, or for any serious diet or prep for anything, there is NO cheatday! Period! Not saying that cant work for some of you, but i know for me, i never used a cheat day in my contest preperations, NEVER

Cheat DAYS? No. Cheat MEALS? Yes.

Depends on what phase I'm in really. When bulking, I cheat when I feel like it. And when I say feel like it, I mean if I have an uncontrollable craving for a large meat lovers pizza with a side of mozzarella sticks. When cutting I will do anything to avoid cheating. It does happen. Probably once or twice a month. And those cheat meals are much less elaborate than my bulking cheat meals. Cheating while cutting might consist of fried chicken, with french fries instead of grilled chicken and rice.

That is what I was talking about. I know if some guys are prepping, that would foolish to interrupt the progress. But in a non-cutting cycles or bulking, why not. And yes...it should say cheat MEALS, not DAYS. LOL

Cheat days/cheat meals/eating anything/eating everything is something I never understood while leaning or bulking vs sticking to your meal plan just adding extra carbs or fats. I was pissed every time I had that burger or pizza as a cheat meal because of how full I felt come next meal.

I am however 100% a fan of a re feed day when needed with clean carbs/fats/ect. Just adding more vs adding shit food.

Sounds like you are stronger than most of us lol. I cheat simply because my body craves junk food. Sometimes it's overpowering. I don't go out of my way to add a cheat meal, but when I start drooling and break into a cold sweat watching one of my friends eat pizza, sometimes I just have to give in. :)
