Anybody eat Tilapia?

Yes. It's a farmed fish but does occur in nature in warm waters. It's a fresh water fish. If you are referring to the Carbon Monoxide then you need to read the ingredients of other foods we consume. Even the so called "fresh" stuff. But it's high in protein and low carbs and it makes good tacos.

Tilapia seems to only be found farmed. Even costco only sells farmed tilapia. I worry about fsrmed fish b/c of the way they are fed, etc., but it is fairly cheap and easy to eat (no tadte of its own, so eady to mask).

Go catch some blue gill, crappie or bass for a real treat that kills tilapia is the taste category. When this isn't an option, I eat a lot of tilapia..............for some reason it doesn't seem as bad for me as farm rasied salmon, why?? no idea just never thought of farm raised tilapia in the same category as nasty farm raised salmon.

I like it at times. I haven't priced it at Costco. I get the chicken tenderloins there for like $2.10 a pound. What are you guys paying for Tilapia? I don't care if it's raised in Presser's bathtub
