Follow and discuss my T3 and Var cycle (first time Var)

Hi,

Im going to share my first experience with Var.

open to feedback and suggestions.
basically I am about to Taper up by T3 again. the stuff I have is 100mcg/30ml and towards end of the week will be starting Var of 10mg (when it arrives).

current stats-
5'1"
161lb - 73kg
LMM- 99lb 43 kgs
fat % 34.5%

have a Powerlifting comp in 4 weeks- hoping to get the newbie gains from Var by then.
looking to add some thickness for figure comp in April next year.
want to lean down as much as possible by December when will be taking 3 weeks off to travel to the states for Christmas. Then come home for a prep that starts new years day.

How much Anavar and t-3 are u taking brother



I haven't done the calculations yet as the T3 is a different strength. I did the calculations for my old vial of t3 over a year ago and just follow the units on the pin...
But was thinking
Tapering from 10 20 30 40mg Var over the first 1.5-2 weeks.
And tapering up to 80 mcg of t3.
I always find it hard to figure out the mcg to convert to units in 1ml.

Edit-after doing calculations will stay at 50mcg of t3

I dont think it's worthwhile to taper Anavar or for women to use higher doses. 15mg is just fine for even pretty advaced competitors (like Pro Figure) and the only reason my wife uses 25 is because thats the capsule size and I can't accurately break them apart. I'm also not a fan of T3. Not at all.. in fact I would never allow my wife to use it. ECA is all you need unless you are hypothyroidal. It's one of those things where the rewards are NO WHERE near the risks. I'd strongly encourage you to dump it. ECA, Clen, and diet will do more for you and not eat up muscle or shut your thyroid down.

It's the newest class Presser. We all wear gym pants and hoodies with the hoods up in the gym, then when we get on stage we strip it all off in one tear and blast the audience with SPARKLE fingers! Still wearing shorts and t shirts of course because we don't want to be confused with those gay bodybuilders and their "thongs". We are hardcore.. just ask us.. we'll tell you. We never go anywhere without our gallon of Zephyrhills water either.. HARDCORE!
 
i gotta ask.. where are you getting this info about t3 being that dangerous in terms of natty recovery?? everything i have ever read in research shows it bounces back very well

First hand experience with my ex wife (Pro Figure competitor), and several others girls that I had to help after they rebounded terribly from messed up T3 usage. It took more than 18 months for them to normalize somewhat and they put on tremendous bodyfat in that time. Then there are the guys who have had the same things happen. I did my first competition in 1993. I've seen T3 used so many times I couldn't recall 10% of them. Not once was the aftermath worth the results. Then there's the off setting number of science classes on the way to my micro biology degree.
I'm no pro trainer and perhaps WITH a Pro trainer it is safe. It is not safe or effective without someone who knows what they are doing monitoring it.
If I were to help someone lose bodyfat I would go with DNP LONG before T3.

actually the opposite might apply..

pros put their metabolism and bodies through HELL contest prepping.. and when they come off the t3 their thyroid might struggle to come back due to that..

but yes i agree.. you should educate before you medicate... i dont let clients go over 50mcg t3.. thats already double your natty production
 
My ex-wife was 165 pounds at 5'3 when she asked me to help her do a show. Within eight months she did her first show. She got 3rd in B class at the Tampa Bay classic. 6 weeks later she won her height class and the overall at the Southern States. The same year as Jason Huh. She was then selected as a finalist for the World's Fittest Model Search at the Olympia. She ended up coming in second to Jamie Eason. A few weeks later she competed at Nationals and won her height class but not the overall. A few weeks after that she competed in the North Americans and won her height class and the overall and her Pro card. That was all in one year. And that was all without a single T3 or dnp. In fact she never used over 15 milligrams of anavar. All that in one year... no rebound... from first show to Pro and immediate magazine exposure. We seperated a few months later and after an abismal first Pro show without me helping her she never competed again. Im not much of a nutrition expert, but I'm damn good with drugs and training.

but you gotta understand that many shows back to back and what she has to do to get to the right bodyfat, she likely caused some metabolic damage

I actually have hyperthyroidism from hashimotos.
Your body naturally produces 30mcg (probably if thyroid function were normal.
Up to 75 is the recommended for hypothyroidism.
But mainly am working to fix it with diet and exercise as well.
 
i personally wouldn't go over 50mcg...

come to think of it.. isn't there a drug contradiction for those who have hashimotos and t3??? i need to brush up on that

Really? Because when t3 is sluggish t4 is elevated so im curious to know why adding make t4 is the treatment?

Because the Doctors creed is "do no harm". They are not getting you to optimal levels, they are trying to minimize the obvious symptoms. My mother suffers from hypothyroidism after radiation and chemo for cancer. They kept prescribing T4 Which as you know is INACTIVE. it requires an enzyme to convert to T3 which is the only active form. I went with her finally and addressed the issue directly with the endocrinologist. At which time he conceded that T4 is useless in most cases including my mothers. The is no on Cytomel (T3) and has lost alot of bodyfat and is much healthier and more energetic. If you suffer from hypothyroidism and you will be on T3 your whole life then I see no issues playing with doses. It's no different than what I do with AAS. The body is a fickle vindictive system. Any chance I have to take control of a metabolic process I take it.

at the moment my diet is lower carbs 4 days a week. higher carbs on my 2 deadlift days and a medium carb day to break up the lower carb days as i do a higher carb day start and end of the week and i found the 3 or 4 days in a row low carb were too much.

but in 'bulking phase' but leaning down on fat'

have a starting dexa and will get a dexa again in 4 weeks

yeah it took me 2 yars of paying people to find that my t4 is not converting to t3 properly. saw a naturopath who got me to do a full thyroid profile and wholah in the parts that have never been tested before were all the problems. even the guy i paid to analyse my bloods $200 privately who specializes in people who use gear didnt pick it up.

are you keeping track of macros and cals? weighing and measuring everything
