how many of you guys shoot doe or anterless deer .???..i see alot of guys do this and its completly stumps me why ...mature bucks with good genetics hit rutt and breed many does ..now why would you shoot does in your hunting area where you know mature bucks are rutting and breeding ..every hunter wants a large buck or other big game animal to hang on the wall ...its kind of like my dick is bigger than urs ...lol bragging rights i guess ...i just disagree with shooting inmature bucks or does ...the 6 point you shoot this year maybe just turn out to be a really nice 8 or 10 in years to follow ...

Wrong. The taking of does is needed for quality deer management. In other words, if there are too many does, then the "big" bucks get extremely wore out from chasing during the rut, which makes their recovery time longer, thus preventing them from reaching their genetic potential as far as horn growth and weight. If you really want to shoot some big bucks, thin out your doe herd a bit, shoot any buck that has thin tines, and nature will take care of the rest.

I know what you are saying. I can kill small animals and birds but this will be my first time where I am going deer hunting.
