“The Spider” suffered a knee injury the last time he entered the octagon in May 2019, losing his middleweight fight to Jared Cannonier in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The former UFC champion only went under the knife a year later.
Silva’s longtime manager Jorge Guimaraes posted a short video on social media Monday, showing “The Spider” throwing kicks and punches at home, with the caption, “the GOAT is back.”

Shortly after the procedure in May, “The Spider” announced he planned on completing his current contract with the UFC.
“I’ll be 100 percent soon, and do my two fights in the UFC,” he said. “I wanted to thank every UFC fan. I finished my surgery and everything is fine, I’m going home. Thanks.”
