Multiple people with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the news to MMA Fighting. The event’s location has not been confirmed.
Moras most recently fought in May at UFC Jacksonville, where she dropped a decision against Sijara Eubanks to leave her with an overall 3-5 UFC record since her turn on The Ultimate Fighter 18.
Melo is also in dire need of a boost after going 0-3 in three UFC outings. Most recently, she lost a decision against Karol Rosa at UFC 251. She’s also lost on points against Tracy Cortez and Irene Aldana.
No other fights have been confirmed for the Nov. 7 event. The promotion has compacted its late-year schedule in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and plans to return to Fight Island in Abu Dhabi as early as next month for a five to six-week residency.
