Kai Kamaka and Tony Kelley at UFC 252 in Las Vegas on Saturday | Zuffa LLC It was a great night for two UFC newcomers and one fighter making his return to the promotion.
First-time UFC fighters Kai Kamaka and Tony Kelley each earned a $50,000 bonus for putting on the Fight of the Night at UFC 252 on Saturday at UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The two battled for three fast-paced rounds to open the preliminary portion of the show. It was Kamaka who emerged victorious with a trio of 29-28 scoreds.
Performance of the Night bonuses went to Virna Jandiroba and Daniel Pineda.
Vandiroba picked up one of the fastest finishes in UFC strawweight history, trapping veteran Felice Herrig with an armbar and forcing the tap at the 1:44 mark of round one. This is the first fight night bonus for the former Invicta FC champion.

Competing in the UFC for the first time since March 2014, Pineda upset Herbert Burns in the second fight of the main card with a second-round TKO victory. Burns also came in heavy for the featherweight contest, resulting in him forfeiting 20 percent of his purse to Pineda.
