Reyna returns for the second consecutive season in hopes of securing a UFC contract when he faces Louis Cosce in the welterweight headliner of DWCS Season 4: Week 3 this Tuesday night. The event takes place at UFC APEX in Las Vegas and streams on ESPN+.
“Kelevra” took on current UFC 170-pounder Miguel Baeza on this past season’s Contender Series in June 2019 and came up short via unanimous decision.
The 34-year-old Reyna spoke with MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck to discuss getting another opportunity to compete in front of UFC President Dana White - along with matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard - how he got into the sport nearly a decade ago, what he took away from his fight with Baeza last season, how he has dealt with training during the COVID-19 pandemic, thought on Cosce as an opponent, whether or not he believes it will be his last chance to get into the UFC, and more.
