John Allan defeated Mike Rodriguez in Sacramento, but tested positive for a banned substance. | Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports A light heavyweight showdown between John Allan and Roman Dolidze has been added to UFC 255 on Nov. 21, both fighters confirmed on social media following a report from Combate.
Allan (13-5, 1 NC) will compete for the first since serving a one-year doping suspension following his UFC debut. He tested positive for tamoxifen after a decision victory over Mike Rodriguez in July 2019. The victory was later overturned to a no contest by the California State Athletic Commission.
Dolidze (7-0) made his UFC debut on the third Fight Island show in July, knocking out Khadis Ibragimov in the opening round in Abu Dhabi. The Georgia-native has scored all of his seven wins by stoppage, going past the first round on just two occasions.
The promotion has yet to announce the exact location for UFC 255, a pay-per-view show that features flyweight champions Deiveson Figueiredo and Valentina Shevchenko defending their 125-pound titles against Cody Garbrandt and Jennifer Maia, respectively.
