Of the 18 fighters who competed at UFC APEX in Las Vegas this past Saturday, Dobson is the only one potentially facing a suspension of longer than six months. “Danger” requires X-rays on her left ribs following a second-round TKO victory over the heavily favored Mariya Agapova, which took place on the UFC on ESPN 15 main card.
Pending orthopedic clearance, Dobson could be out of action until February of next year.
Headlining bantamweights Frankie Edgar and Pedro Munhoz escaped with minimal long term damage despite a hard-fought five-round battle, with both being diagnosed with lacerations that aren’t expected to shelve them for longer than two months.
