During Saturday’s UFC Vegas 8 show, the five-fight lineups for Week 6 and Week 7 of the ongoing prospect showcase were announced, with a light heavyweight bout between Tafon Nchukwi and Al Matavao headlining Week 6 (Sept. 8) and a middleweight bout between Gregory Rodrigues and Nassourdine Imavov headlining Week 7 (Sept. 15).
The Sept. 8 co-main event sees undefeated lightweights Cameron Church and Sherrard Blackledge face off. Also of note is the return of middleweight Phil Hawes, who previously competed on the Contender Series in 2017 and has also made appearances for Bellator and on the qualification round of The Ultimate Fighter 23.
The Sept. 15 co-main event features Tajikistan’s Muhammadjon Naimov facing Collin Anglin in a featherweight bout. Recent Invicta FC: Phoenix Series 3 bantamweight tournament winner Taneisha Tennant faces pro boxing veteran Danyelle Wolf in a featherweight bout. This will be Wolf’s first pro MMA bout.
