Multiple sources confirmed the bantamweight matchup when speaking to MMA Fighting on Tuesday following an initial report from MMA DNA.
Both fighters will look to get a win in the UFC after coming up short in their respective debuts.
Al-Qaisi battled with Irwin Rivera for three rounds before ultimately losing a razor-close split decision in August. Prior to that setback, he was on a five fight win streak with three of those victories coming in BRAVE CF.
As for Kelley, he made a short notice debut at UFC 252 where he lost to Kai Kamaka but still went home with an extra $50,000 after earning Fight of the Night honors. Kelley is 6-2 overall in his career with his only other loss coming by split decision to UFC veteran Kevin Aguilar in 2016.
While the event hasn’t been formally announced by the UFC, a bantamweight fight between Marlon Moraes and Cory Sandhagen is currently expected to serve as the headliner.
