Bellator officials confirmed the fights to MMA Fighting on Wednesday. The Smith vs. Bell fight was initially reported by Sherdog.
Smith will look to bounce back after suffering a loss to Arlene Biencowe in her last outing, which stopped a three-fight win streak for the former UFC contender. Prior to that setback, Smith had picked up wins over Irene Aldana, Amanda Lemos and Sinead Kavanagh.
As for Bell, she’s looking to build on a ground and pound victory over Janay Harding in her most recent appearance in the Bellator cage. Overall, Bell has gone 3-2 since joining Bellator MMA.
The other addition will see Zani step up on short notice to face Lee in a 140-pound catchweight after Dominic Mazzotta was forced off the card.
Lee has won three straight including a victory over Shawn Bunch in his Bellator debut while Zani will look to bounce back after suffering two consecutive losses including a unanimous decision to Josh Hill in Bellator back in February.
The upcoming Bellator 245 card will be headlined by a light heavyweight rematch as Phil Davis takes on Lyoto Machida.
