Photo by Josh Hedges/Zuffa LLC Court McGee suffered a brutally broken nose this past weekend in a battle against Carlos Condit, but there was no way that was going to take him out of the fight.
At the close of the opening round in their matchup at UFC Fight Island 4, Condit connected with a massive right hook that sent McGee down to the canvas momentarily. He got back up and made it to his corner without incident but after sitting down it was clear that the former Ultimate Fighter winner suffered a gruesome broken nose.

Now according to McGee, he realized the nose was badly damaged as he got prepared to go out for the next round but first he had to make a slight adjustment.
“Back to the states, had lots of people ask about my nose,” McGee wrote on Instagram. “I reset it in the second round.
“I had felt that it was crooked as I stood up off the stool in between rounds so I smashed it straight and kept fighting.”
Not only was McGee able to continue fighting on Saturday night but he actually made it through to the final bell.
While he did suffer a unanimous decision loss, no one will question McGee’s toughness after he competed for at least 10 minutes with a broken nose that he put back into place himself.
