Winner — Shi Tian Wang
Wang came within one spot of qualifying for the 2023 Olympia Weekend in his pro debut at the 2023 Tokyo Pro. He made the proper adjustments and entered the 2023 Korea AGP Pro holding less water underneath his skin, improving his physique.
It was still a two-point decision in Wang’s favor by the judges, meaning some judges ranked Timoshin in first place. However, a win is a win, and Wang will make his Olympia debut in Orlando, FL, on Nov. 2-5, 2023.
Second Place — Mikhail Timoshin
Timoshin has nothing to hang his head for in this outing. He looked very impressive, and some of the judges felt the same way. This is his second consecutive second-place finish. He earned the same position at the 2023 Sheru Classic India show.
The sixth-year pro has until Oct. 9, 2023, to win a pro show and qualify for the Olympia. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him enter at least one more contest after coming so close multiple times.
Third Place — Li-Hsuan Liu
This was Liu’s 2023 season debut. He was right in the mix with the top two finishers on all their callouts. Only four points separated first, second, and third on the scorecards.
This is Liu’s highest finish in three pro seasons. He has the potential to place higher in a future contest, but it’s unknown if he will enter another show or wait until 2024 to step back onstage.
