So i was surprised to hear Julio Jones Signed with Eagles, and was curious what anyone else thought?

Go Birds and Go PHILLIES BITCHES

Sometimes I think they get some of these older veterans more for their ability to mentor the younger players than their actual physical abilities anymore. If hes been taking care of himself, I'm sure hes still a threat.

Yeah I heard that exact take on sports radio and it made me feel slightly better as your right that could be!

But I was in the camp of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

I dont think alot of these players have any sense of loyalty or " team" much anymore. Its all about the money and I get that to a point, but Ive seen too many players leave a solid team for money and then realize that it was the team that made them good and their skills. Not just their skills alone. Im a Steelers guy, and I can start naming names of people who left Pittsburgh because they didn't get paid, and they went from being 1 or 2 in depth to 3 or something else. Or just never were the player they were....mike wallace, Antonio brown, juju schuster...i got more if you need. So maybe they bring back in some vets to teach the young bucks a sense of team? Teach them that money aint everything.

First things first…Pittsburgh ——>:moon:

Lol I couldn’t resist lol

And I’m with you on the loyalty thing for sure! But in fairness let’s not forget who’s feet bare this blame (pun intended). The league owners who before Free agency and such had zero loyalty to their players and the “bottom line” is all they cared about! So while I totally agree from a fans perspective like myself who scream at the tv yelling shit like “ I’d play pro football for free if they’d let me” , when I see players doing this shit! But I have to say I get where they’re coming from for sure as you never know if this snap is your last one ever! As a fan though it drives me nuts lol

I honestly don’t know much about Julio Jones off the field which is all I usually worry about when I know a player has mad skills like Julio! I mean we don’t want him accidentally shooting himself in the leg while out BALLING AT THE CLUB LOL

Not sure how i missed your reply But yes, I can see both sides of the coin. It's just as frustrating when these very talented players spend more time figuring out their ends zone dance than anything else. It's hard to remember that these guys are only 20-something I know I was a complete idiot at 20 something.

lol, funny you say that, i just watched the new documentary on Barry Sanders, and that cat was as humble as they come after scoring! Almost forgot just how good he really was!
