I think it was ... he regretted writing the book- he blackballed himself out of the sport he loved, and he has testosterone issues which I can relate to.
But hindsight isn't always good...

Correct- it was HCG. That was mentioned at the very last of the show.

I read Juiced when it first came out and yes it did all start with the book. All the crap that stemmed from that book would not have happened including the Barry Bonds thing.
