So I go with my girl today to the neurologist for her migraines. This is the first time we've ever been to this guy and it was a referal from her general practioner. So we get there and this ass whip immediately comes off like she's a drug addict just trying to get pills. She's been on pain meds for 10 years now and her normal general practioner doc moved away so she's just trying to get her normal script back. So anyway, he's coming off like a total dick (which I understand with the stigma now this is probably to scare off legitiment drug addicts), but he's going overboard to an extent. Then when he asked if she'd like the nerve blocking injections in her neck she says yes if you can do it here. He proceeds to tell us how he's invented this (which he obviously didn't) and that other doctors have tried to do them as well as him and no one's succeeded. so we get to the point of getting the shots. Instead of just telling her to turn around in the chair and face the wall he tells her to straddle the chair like she's riding a horse. Then says "straddle it like a.....(there was a long pause then he spits out) horse" You could kind of tell that's not what he was going to say. Then he's telling me that I can give her a shot of toradol (spelling) if she's comfortable which she says that she was, but asks where I need to give her the shot. His reply was 'in your left nipple."

That was totally unprofessional if you ask me, but then as he's giving her the shots, he neglects to clean the area and as he's injecting the shot he's just telling her to take it, just take what I'm giving you. It just seemed like everything with him was a sexual pass. I was getting pissed, but didn't want to say anything in case she wanted to keep him as her doc because I thought I'd ruin it for her.

We get out of the office and she's upset (she's been crying nearly the whole time since he initially started treating her like a drug addict) and she starts talking about how much she hates him. No I wish I'd said something to him or smacked the piss out of him

Dude that's fucked up!! I would have his medical license hanging on my wall! You need to seriously call around tomorrow and report his ass! If he did it to your girl with you standing rt there I can promise you he is just as inapproiate, if not more so, with every other hot girl that comes in there!! It only takes a couple of phone calls before his ass is in trouble! I'd do some checking into that!! Feel bad for your girl, glad you were with her though.

She's wanting to call, but at the same time she feels guilty in knowing that he's a good doctor and will be possibly be taking a good doctor away from unfortunate patients. I on the otherhand keep telling her that she didn't ask for any of that shit to happen and that it's his problem to deal with and not hers. I've never caught any breaks when it comes to the law or anything like that so I have no sympathy for shit like this. And she also feels that because I've never had any breaks maybe she should give someone else a break, but obviously no one else has spoken up yet and maybe they're waiting for someone else to do it. She's already heard from a few other girls that he hits on them and shit too so I'm trying to get her to go after his ass

Can't imagine him with a teenage female patient alone.. This shit furiates me because they make too much money and take advantage of nice people.. She would do the town a favor by reporting I think..

you could file a report with the american medical association but it would likely go unnoticed. he would get a letter in the mail that says someone filed a report on him but it would likely end there unless there is a substantial history of things like this in his file...

Her mom called the guy today to let him know that it was unprofessional and borderline sexual harassment. He never apologized, but rather justified his actions. So I think they're going to get an attorney involved now, anyone know what kind of attorney is needed? I was not sure if a personal injury lawyer could handle it or what kind of specialized lawyer is needed.

I agree. I would say sexual harassment would be rather easy. I'm impressed that you were able to bite your tongue. No way in hell would I have been able to and that situation would have escalated quickly. My advice would be to have her go in next time with a recorder and get the shit on tape, then sue that fucking prick.

Isn't it a type of malpractice of etiquette and professionalism? I'd just call any attorney and they will assist I'm sure who or what it's called.. They all have their handout to help for money..

And as for keeping a cool head, trust me it was hard, but I've had a bad history of losing my temper so now I've learned to keep it in check. When I was younger I got into a lot of fights and one more battery charge on my record is a felony so it's going to have to be a damn good reason lol

I feel bad for your wife. But she certainly shouldn't feel bad about reporting this so called "good doctor." Imagine how he may have acted if you weren't with her. Im sure it wouldn't have been a better experience, it would have been worse. Good luck, I hope she is OK.
