So I was watching these shows called "Ted Talks" very kick ass if your into expanding as well as having your Mind Blown by many different things as you wouldnt believe how advanced we are in technology and such but anyhow....

Anyways in one of these Talks they were breaking down "Time" and this one number of seconds blew my mind. They asked How long do you think 1 Trillion Seconds is?

So before I give you the answer, I took it upon myself to think of it in terms of our 16 trillion dollar debt

So 1 Trillion seconds = 32 Thousand Years!!! That in itself blew my mind!

But then I got to thinking about just how much money 16 TRILLION DOLLARS IS WHICH IS ROUGHLY OUR NATIONAL Debt

So if 1 dollar every single second was saved, it would still take us OVER Half a Million Years to pay it off! lol,

Its just Mind blowing!

Sorry if I bored any of you, lol, but I couldnt believe that 1 Trillion seconds was 32k years, and when i thought about that in terms of Money, it shocked me!

Pretty cool stuff to a dork like myself!

Deficit is never meant to be paid back .. its meant to enslave the population

Yes it is mind blowing ... what is also mind blowing is that that money is owed to only a handfull of people.. The reserve bank.

Bro it is INSANE!! I'm glad I'm not the only one blown away by this. Not that it makes much difference, but our debt is a bit over 16 trillion. Deficit goes by our yearly budget minus our spending. What's truly crazy is we don't have enough money annually to even pay the interest on our current debt... So even if a President was able to magically balance the budget, we would still never be able to even keep up with the interest payments. It's a fact that people should consider strongly when planning for the future of their family in this country

Guys, you are confusing debt and deficit. Deficit is the difference between what you take in versus what you spend. The US national deficit is a bit over a $1 trillion. You are talking about debt. Our national debt is around $16 trillion.

The deficit could be fixed almost overnight. Stop spending. It is important to remember that debt is cheaper than equity. So it is wise to hold some degree of debt. My MBA and doctorate finally came in handy on this forum.
