Race is more of a political term than a scientific term to describe the different "ethnic groups". Taxonomists and Physical Anthropologists have never used the term. Physical Anthropology is a biological science that deals with the adaptations, variability and evolution of human beings. It was popularized by the League of Nations after WWI to counteract the widespread popularity of Eugenics, (improving ones breed.)
Ernst Mayr, considered to be one of the most important taxonomists in the last 200 years firmly believed that the human races were separate subspecies. Subspecies are regularly demarcated due to morphological differences. So if races only differ superficially they still might be considered separate subspecies.

Here is something to think about. I saw it on You-Tube. White Europeans were 30% of the world population in 1900. In 2007, they were less than 10%. The United Nations estimates they will be 2% by the end of the century. After that? How does it feel to be on the brink of extinction?

Thats a great question, I've had one black guy pm me and tell me he couldn't take the racist comments here so he was leaving, kind of blew my mind, and he was a pretty solid, long time member, who i guess got caught up in an old thread we had going about race, and he was kind of enough to pm me, but mainly to let me know , he was a long time contributor here and he was leaving based soley on the race rhetoric in one thread here, so i try not let politics and race become out of control here, Hale Hitler …..that was a joke btw!
