8 Ways to Figure Out Where Not to Train

I travel all over the World. I never miss workouts.

Usually I train at a gym owned by a student like Juan Carlos’s Simon Workout, or a gym owned by leader in the Iron Community like Tony Doherty’s.

However sometimes, because of time constraints I have to do a workout in a corporate gym. Here is a way to tell if you be wasting your money before you fork out the drop in fee.

1. They have a designated selfie area. Which turns out to be the whole gym!

2. There are more treadmills than dumbbells.

3. They provide free phthalate laden moisturizers in the looker room. The conspiracy is they feminize you so their sales of soy products, and treadmill use goes up.

4. They have posters in the looker room that warn on the “classic signs” of steroid use: wearing large sweatshirts, consuming protein supplements, and lifting over 20 kg dumbbells. No shit, I saw that in Denmark. André Benoit and I wanted copies of the posters to cure constipation.

5. The dumbbells are not racked in order. Which means you will end up spend half your workout chasing plates, implements…

6. People leave dumbbells and loaded on benches ‘s upholstery.

7. People do their lateral raises 2 cm from the dumbbell rack so you can’t grab any of ten increments of dumbbells.

8. Everybody wears workout gloves.

Hence you can understand why I have started a series of articles on “where to train”

Enjoy,

I'll add one, if the name of the place as the word "fitness or wellness" (esp. the latter) as the last word, GTFO!!

Oh the gloves, I never wear them and have callises and cuts on my hands to prove it! Every night I rub Neosporin into my hands to keep the cracking and infection from happening.

I hate having to hunt down dumbells and barbells. Sometimes I have had to search the aerobics room to fine them. That's what I get for going to 24 Hour Fitness. Not a decent gym around me.

I am going to be moving to another gym when my membership is up. The main reason is that there are too many irritating people there. I just want to get away from them.
