Good Morning,

Just a little background for information. I am soon to be 49 years old, 6'2" and 230lbs. I am wanting to get into better shape and was wondering what I can do with my diabetic back ground. When I did try to gain mass, if I got my carbs about 200 my blood sugar levels would hit the roof. I just want to cut and take care of what muscle I have these days.

What do you guys recommend?

thank you for all of your help.

Then just go Keto and don't eat any carbs. You'll cut faster than ever! No carbs and high fat (healthy fat of course).

I have been doing research on Keto and thought that might be what I needed to do. I just didn't really know how much I needed to eat of each. Fats and Protein. Any idea?

Fats should make up the majority of your calories, anywhere from 60 to 70 percent of your daily caloric intake. Protein intake should be around 20 to 30 percent of your daily calorie intake, and carbs should not exceed 50 grams per day.

I am a Type II diabetic. I don't go over 50 gr of carbs per day, and I take those pre and post workout only. I also take 12 cinnemon (sp?) capsules (1,000 mg each) spread throughout the day. I also do 30 minutes of cardio everyday. I am not on any meds, i.e. Metformin.

I have added a few carbs as I was getting bad brain fog, bad. But I was on a hardcore Keto diet at the time. Added a few carbs and have started dropping a few pounds. I am thinking of getting some Igf and having a go with my HRT. What do you think?

Going to get an order in by the end of the month and run it and see how it goes. With all the positive reviews I have read, I am excited to try it.

How much do you feel the cinnamon caps have helped? My mom shows as pre-diabetic, I hear that is a BS term but wondering if that would help.
