I know some guys swear by foam rolling/massage balls and others never touch them, so I was curious as to how many of you use foam rollers/massage balls?

I use my foam roller daily. I love that thing! Since my PT showed me how to properly use it, I'm digging it big time.

Nope. My foam roller looks like a 3 foot section of telephone pole, but it's black and foam. Then I have a little hand held deal that works pretty good for hard to reach spots.

Ok, this is where I sound like a newb... what is DOMS?

DOMS is the acronym used by doctors and fitness professionals for 'Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness'. As the name suggests, delayed onset muscle soreness is the soreness and discomfort you experience after exercise, especially if that exercise is something you are not used to doing

OOOHHHHHH.... I've never heard it called DOMS before. But yea, it works well for that. I do it every day on my back, because my PT said it's a good thing. Helps keep everything aligned and pliable. It's almost like getting an adjustment every night. lol

I use a foam roller often. I also use a lacross ball. Does wonders on knots on my back and losen up my calves. I also use it to massage the bottom of my feet.

i have a hyperextended upper back.. foam roller is my favorite friend

Love the foam rollers. I have a dryer ball as well, about the size of a tennis ball but spiky. Feels amazing on knots. Also wifey will rolling pin my hammys and calves if I ask nicely lol
