Does your DR. know about AAS

Do you tell your doctor about using AAS? Would he perscribe something like clomid or nolva for you??? I know its stupid to do so i was just wondering what doctors say about abusing AAS and they have to keep it confidential don't they?

You can inform doctors of what you are doing, hence blood work done routinely with bp checks. And yes they can perscribe clomid and nolvadex for gyno conditions.

Whatever you reveal to a doctor is covered by a doctor to patient privilege meaning you have immunity. However understand that when you apply for jobs, security clearance etc. they will ask for a signed document from you which commands your doctor to release your records to them.

My undersanding is that under the new hippa guidlines your medical history is sealed and confidential to only you and your Dr. Thats why a person can not even go into the treatment area of a Dr's office unless they too are a patient, they don't want you to see you may be back there being treated.

I work in a Clinic and that's true about the hippa guidelines, However I also used to work for the Gov. in a Secure Sensitive position and when they do your security check they have full access to everything, they can even interview your friends and neighbors. Anything they don't have automatic access to you will be required to sign affidavits allowing them access.

So if we dont work for uncle sam we are ok then.

My doc doesnt care, He'll script anything that isnt narcotic painkillers. juice and all. but its way too much money. i just go for blood work and anti e's

what about losing ur insurance coverage for for using ilegaly?? I am sure the insurance company has a right to ur files, no?

realy, then how is it they get the final say whether or not to grant MRI's and shit like that, I was turned down for an MRI for my leg last year by the insurance company, and I have great insurance coverage and they still said no, I would assume they made that decision based on my records or atleast my last visit? cheap pricks

There is something called a diagnosis code that the DR. fills out on forms...Insurance co's use that to decide if they will pay. I dont have all the details but my doc is totally cool and explained some of it once, but he said no way can they see records after hippa.

I see, pretty lame though that my dr says I should get MRI and insurance says no,lol,

On scripts, yes insurance companies does get to see what the doc is prescribing to you.

Hippa does protect you to a certain point but for those who seek a career in the govt and for those that will need security clearances becareful.

Presser yes it is something else when an insurance company can tell you NO we ain't paying for that, even if the dr feels it is necessary. Damn why pay the premiums for.

Got me man, lol, my leg fell clean off the hip bone a week later to, wish I had have gotten that damn MRI lmao:p

If u ever read all those pages u signed when u signed-up for your med ins. one granted them limited acess to your medical records WHILE UNDER their coverage. With my coverage I CAN be dropped foir illegal drug use of any kind.
My Dr was a referral thru another b.b.'er & he is VERY cool. He wrote me for Femera & Gluc.. He just told me last week he is on growth right now & can eat whatever he wants & has almost NO b/f. (BTW..he looks jacked & lean)
Best thing is he moniters my bloods once every 4 weeks while I am on. Gotta luv the piece of mnd.
I mentioned the insurance thing to him & he smiled & said...that is why this stuff doesnt end-up in your files.

Actually, where I live a doctor who's a body builder got popped for distributing AAS, seems he was importing and dispensing with no scripts...

Now if a doctor can't get them legally, then I guess we are shit out of luck...

BUMP that THICk..but he had to draw some bad attention to himself by gettin slopy or something. Money/Greed usually tends to do that

my doctor, he has actually asked me about it, but i haven't told him, havent really done anything too heavy just a cycle of sust and deca one time and now the m1t, other than that just pretty natural, if that makes since! Would you suggest getting blood work right away

What states do you guys live in? I'm in Utah, and I can pretty much say that most if not all doctors here will be the paranoid, prescribe absolutely nothing kind. And, most doctors here are also not very informed about AAS and what they do. I was lucky only because I turned out to have a medical need. If I was under care of a good doctor like deepsea's doctor, I could add a little bit in addition to the limited prescription I have. You know, one who would push the limits a little.

Can you claim that a doctor is seeing you as a patient if you have only spoken on the phone (not just once of course)? If they requested all the records from my current doctor, wouldn't they be about just as informed about me as my current doctor?

Are u referring to one of those online Dr's TONY?
I know they give phone & online consults & info. BUT..either way..IMO, the most important part of your Dr knowing is him keeping a CLOSE eye on your blood results. Not just blood TEST & Estro levels but choles. & liver values. I adjust my Drol usage by what he says about my liver values.
ANYONE can request frequest blood tests under the pretense of being a bit paranoid about your "frequest" drinking & how it is effecting your liver. No Dr can force u to stop drinking so u just hit him up every month for a blood test to watch yuor liver values.
