ephedra ban question

will pure ephedrine hcl be banned from sales or just products with ephedra in them that are used for dietary suplements

oh.. I ask because I hear that it will still be sold as pure ephedrine hcl 25mgs and 200mg guaffenesin expextorant

this would be fine by me as i make my own stacks anyhow with pure ephedrine hcl

My understanding from someone who practices whole Chinese herbal medicine is that ALL forms will be banned.

As a matter of fact this includes the whole herbs not just the extracts. I know this because I was sick last summer and doing the herbal medicine thing and ephedra powder (whole) was part of a lot of the componds I was making.

My supplier called me and asked me if I wanted the three pounds that she had left because it was going to be banned so I took it.

The problem is that I can't figure out how to extract the ephedra from the powder. The powder as a whole herb is much less potent than the extracts.

Ephedrine HCL is purely synthetic labratory made. And my understanding is that it will remain legal but may be made script only soon. I also think it has a stronger effect over the ephedra herbs.
Pure Ephedrine HCL is an athsma treatment...can't ban that!!people need it.

who knows maybe it wont happen, there are a lot more people taking "ephedra", than know about real ephedrine, if it doesnt wind up on health food store shelves and convenience store shelves maybe it'll just blow over

Hell, I just stocked up on my VASOPRO, which is for my asthma...LOL Not taking any chances on what the govt will force manufacturers and retailers to do, once the law goes into effect.

Vasparo sucks, nobody wants to take gaufisen with their ephedra...
