deca and tendon healing, put to the test....

Ive posted on MANY different boards about this topic....what I have concluded is that there is really NO hard evidence between exactly which roids will help tendon and joint healing. But the consensus is that they WILL help accelerate growth (of course).

so, I am still bothered by my severe tendonitis in my left calve. I saw a sports medicine guy who treats some of the Green Bay packers and he said it was necrosis (scar tissue) around my tendon which was slowing the healing process. I asked him about anabolics...and he said possibly spot injections...
I havent worked the calve for 3 months....1 1/2 months of that went through physical therapy.

So I just started a cycle of 500 test/400deca for 10 weeks. Hopefully by about week 5 ill see something. I am going to slightly work the calve and deep massage it to get it inflammed and harbor the healing effect. I will tell you guys how this goes!

what you guys think...? Ill keep you posted on what happens...

I would not recommend using the Equipoise, it makes your muscles tight and there is a great chance for tears, strains and sprains to occur. More so with your stated problems.

I would recommend that you use Deca instead.

If you are going to use the EQ then besure to stretch before and after training.

Look for an A.R.T. (active release therapy) practitioner in your area. This tecnique helps to break up scar tissue around the tendon and many powerlifters have had great success with it. Go to http://www.drsquat.com/ and ask some questions there. Some very knowledgable people are on this board, but don't ask about steroids there.

I would love to break up sme old scar tissure myself, hmm ill check out that site as well

I have had to use deca every cycle because of joint pain for the last couple years.I also got this awful pain that runs through the crease of my forarms I'm assuming it's a tendon because it goes away after using deca.
Staying away from excercises that would aggravate it more also helps.
I cant bench press or do barbell curls no longer the deca helped but not to the full extent I wanted it to be.
Using deca is cool but its a temporary fix.
I heard gh is good for that stuff..

thanks for all your input guys....yea the scar tissue is a real bummer as it impedes healing to a very large degree. Im worried I may have this tendonitis for a year + if i dont start seeing some improvement soon. My doc said deep tissue massage (to the point of almost brusing and area, making it inflammed and causing natural actions to be signaled and healing to progress.) also he said prolotherapy....(injections of an inflammatory agent) into the tendon area can also speed up healing. we will see what happens then.
