Anyone have trouble with their feet hurting. For the last few weeks I couldn't figure it out. Today I came up with maybe gaining 30+ pounds in 3 months may be the reason. Anybody ever go through this and have any remedies?

BTW, I haven't been in the gym for over a week now because I went and dropped a 45lb'r on my left foot. Like acking feet wasn't enough, now one is purple with 3 split toes. I knew I had a foot fetish but this is rediculous.

I get my feet to hurt, almost cramp between the heel and the ball on my outsides if my shoes aren't on tight enough. Try lacing up tighter. Maybe it's time for new shoes?

nah nah I know two good guys who can fix those feet of yours... Just message IP and Monizzile and those two will rub them feet down.... just gotta watch out they might try to rub somthing else on them feet

Where abouts is your foot hurting ?
Location of the pain can be indicators for certain foot problems such as plantar fasciitis ( etc ) .
Foot problems can have to do with
- weight
-form
-shoes
- arch problems
- bone structures
-ligament and tendon problems

Let us know exactly where your pain is, what time of day it occurs or what exacerbates it and well see if we can help you out.

Pain is everywhere. As the day goes they hurt more. Ever started a new job where you stand all day on concrete and wasn't used to it? Its that kind of pain, in my legs also. Late of the evening when I rest they throb.

As far as shoes I wear quality, if price matters.

I think its from the weight gain but could be wrong. I never had any type of feet problems before. I should probably just suck it up and quit whinning. I have a pretty high threshhold for pain but its just annoying.

It is the weight gain that is causing your feet problem. Your body will have to get acclimated carrying your new weight gain.

Yeah sounds like MMX2 is right.
Weight gain puts more stress on the structures in your feet and it also changes the angle and depth of arches.
There is not much you can do.
The best thing would be to look into orthotics or some kind of lifts that will provide a bit more support for your arch which should in turn help diminish the pain.

Not much you can do except to put down the bucket of KFC.

JK bro, 30lbs is a few months is very good. You were trying to gain weight, correct?

Either way, your feet will get used to the added pressure. Either that or they'll fall off.

Sounds right to me. I figured some of you experienced this a couple months after a show. Thanks everyone!

Jay, yes I have been trying to gain gain gain. So far so good. My waist has stayed pretty much the same size to, besides after a feast. Its a new BB startup from a few years off so my body has been really hungry. I've already added over 100lbs. to my bench and 2 inches in the arms since 12 weeks ago. My new found feet weight is really going to be in trouble next month when I begin a HRTx3. All my friends and family are already accusing me of being on a steriod kick so I don't want to let them down.

I started eating at 155lbs., at 160lbs I joined the gym, 12 weeks later I'm at 191. Around the beginning of july (when finished HRT) my goal is to be at least 210lbs. so far it don't look like I'll be having any problems getting there.

I know these gains sound unreasonable but keep in mind the reason I'm getting them is because at 155lbs. I was just into whiskey and other junk. Just living a normal life my body wants to naturally be around 170lbs. In other words a "shock to my system" may be an understatement.

Those are really good gains, optimal. 210 is probably just right for you if you don't want to get too big, though you may be able to get bigger. I used to weigh 130 when I started so you had 25 lbs on me then. Depending on your height, I'd think 210 would be a breeze for you. I was a real hard gainer so it took me eight years to get to 200. I too, would like to get to 210, but it has been hard. Cycling the IGF has helped a LOT. BTW, I also get sore feet because I _know_ I was not originally built to carry 200--still haven't gotten used to it.

Thanks Tony, I'm 5-9. Good thing about being small boned or not genetically programed to be 200+lbs. when you get there you look much bigger. Keep up the good work. I was pretty small back in middle school. Started lifting in high school and I'm 30 now. I have been off from lifting about 85% of those years though. I always jump into one thing and let it consume my life. Next month when the Bass tournaments start up, the ladies start flocking, and work gets really busy I may not even be lifting. I'll try to stay with it though. I'll just have to go extra early every morning.
