Well its four weeks today from my show and things are going ok i guess. but yesterday i wake up for morning cardio and after that my throat is sore. not im just a mess. great just great timing. im taking tons of vit c and i mean tons and lots of cough syrup and shit. just my luck. i thought id wine and if anyone knows anything that will get me better by 7pm that would be great.

do you have a post nasal drip? if so get rid of that pronto. that will give you a sore throat and then lead to a cough. take anything you can to stop that. otherwise, thera flu is really great for temporary relief of could symptons, you'll feel better atleast. if your throat is in pain try aleve, it works wonders for me.

as soon as I started IGF-1 my ligering cough went away.

if it's a Cold the best thing on the market is Zicam, it is proven to reduce the length and severity of the cold

vitamin c with zinc. There is no cure for the common cold. cough syrup has alot of sugar. that you dont want to take if you are 4 weeks away from a show that could cause you to gain bloat your not bulking now. take all your vitamins. Plenty of water ...it is taken so for granted. sweat from the cardio will cleans your body. It helps your renal system.Without water your renal system doesnt work properly.

im pretty sure this cough syrup is sugar free. regardless a bit of sugar right now wont hurt me. im carbing up anyway.

I don't remeber where but I heard it was bad to train while being sick. I just got a nasty, deep cough that feels like my chest is exploding everytime it comes out. Not to mention all the mucus (spelling) coming up with it. Should I still lift or try and wait it out?

Generally, yes, it is hard on you to work out while sick. Your body is trying to divert resources to fight off the germ, and then when you go do an intense workout, you lower your body's immune response for a bit. That can sometimes be enough to trigger a bad cold/sickness if you only felt it coming on, or make an existing cold last longer. If you must work out, do it lightly. If you can take a few days off, do it, you'll be glad you did.
