I hear so many different things about bulking diets
Some say eat 22x your bodyweight
Some say eat 20 x your bodyweight
some say 3500 cals
some say 5000 cals
All this drama PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I am asking everyone to post there best bulker and if anyone knows arnold's magic potion please release it to us all!!!!!

bulking i just eat a shit load of anything thats relitively low sodium and still semi low in fat more cheat meals. lots of pasta, shitload of chicken rice, at least a weightgainer every day.

I've heard up to 25x your bodyweight. I'm with Gbart though, when I bulk I eat just about everything I can split between 6-8 meals a day. Can't really set a certain # of calories though. For a 130lb kid, 3500 calories would work wonders while a 240lb guy would probably lose weight only eating 3500 cals. Personally I try to eat clean bulking or not and always aim for 40g protein/meal.

I've bulked pretty damn dirty in the past, and it's a chore to clean up your mess for the summer. This time around I'm gonna do it a little smarter. I'll still eat clean, but replace foods like veges with oatmeal, throw in an extra meal during the evening, and jus plain add more food to every meal. I'll lower the cardio down to 3-5 sessions a week, but I'd like to keep my bf from getting out of control. I'm shootin for a good 5-10lbs of muscle this year, but we'll see how things work out.

I've been ridin dirty for awhile myself. I have since found some great help from supermannpc on cleaning up my act.

mine bulking diets are always clean, but I still get fat. I think my overall calories are just too high. I usually go about 4500 calories on non-lifting days. I think about 4000 calories is a good lean bulking intake for me.

Same for me bro, the question also is are you "supplimenting"? THis also would make a difference in the quantity of calories and the macronutrient breakdown. If on stuff defienately prot at least 2g/#... and I have gone as high as 6g carbs/# but got really bloated. Unfortunatley it is all a big experiment...

forget about the low sodium, dont even worry about it. unless your bombing salt on everything you eat, your not taking in too much. your body needs it. pasta is good but not ideal. forget about counting calories, they add up and take care of themsleves, concentrate on high clean carbs, w/moderate protein. and have medium carb days, with say a carb cutoff, w/ higher protein. then from there you can incorporate a cheat meal into your high day, a few times a week. try it the meals after you train, say on days that you train lagging bodypart.
