lets talk about cycle doses

alright guys many of you know how much i love tinkering around with cycles etc and i do love to help people out...but i am witnessing a growing trend that i dont particulary care for...High high dosing for newbies and people with just a few cycles under thier belt jumping into a few gram cycles...i have read many studies about a dose of 600mg of test a week can be run safely but what about the people running 2gs? i for one dont always think more is better but then you hear of people saying the "magic" happened at over a gram,2gs etc...do you feel the gains outweigh the potential sides? do you feel the sides arent as bad as people make them out to be? how do you all feel about the growing trend? do some of you think that higher doses make for bigger gains or that you should just grow off as low as possible of dose? say their are two bros, both of whom have there diet in check, both have the same goals the only,both are getting the proper rest, the difference is one is running 500mgs of test and the other is running 1000mgs of test, do you think there gains would be similiar, now they are both the same stats and same cycle expereince lets discuss
 
Im trying to cut down myself. Im usually running a gram of test per cycle. But im going to start to cut back to 700mgs and go from there.
 
Just to clarify, do you mean 1000mg of TOTAL AAS per week or 1000mg Test E plus whatever else they may be taking?

And in your hypothetical situation, I think the gains would be very similar IF they were eating and training the same way.

When I'm on higher doses (though I've never gone past 800mg test/wk) I recover much faster, and so I train more frequently. If I wasn't training as frequently, I don't think my gains would be as good.
 
I Think Newbies Should Start Out With 200-400 Mg Tests Tops, I Know Its Like A Broken Record For Those Who Been Here Along Time, But I Grew 30lbs On 200mgs Of The Old Tornel Enenthate A Week For 10 Weeks, With Alot Of Food!
 
bumpin that P i think you should use what you can grow on and then gradually step it up or increase the breaks between ccyles...i can grow off 400mgs of prop a week but it seems the higher the dose for myself the more fat burning that comes with it
 
ya i see this being a health prob for them down the road! i will not go over 700mg of test a week!! that i feel is plenty for me to see great gains!!!
 
Press, you must of been eating a hell of a lot to gain 30pds off that tornel, heard that stuff is crap, obv. you had your diet in check as well as routine.

damn, thats a fat cycle now

I dont advocate higher dosages unless your goal is continually getting more massive.

That is my goal, but my dosages haven't really been that high in the past as Ive heard many use. They've been bumped a bit this cycle and will probably be bumped more next winter.

I think sometimes the newbies are in too much of a hurry to get big, thus the large amounts. More is not always better. When I started, I gained about 30-35 lbs off of 300 mg/week of test cyp in three months. From what I've heard, it is best to gain moderately because if you gain it too fast, you can lose it really fast as well.
