I think my liver hurt last night.

I was bouncing and had quite a few drinks. Next thing i know, i have this kinda weird hurt under my rib cage left side.

I dont want people to get all up in arms, Im just currious if thats where the liver is???

It could be abs muscle too. Cause i've been hitting abs really hard latley.

And dont give me shit about drinking... i know, its bad

I dont think that you would feel pain in your liver. But you may have felt pain in your kidneys. But that pain is usualy located in the lower back area.

nope. this was is in the front. Its gone today. I think it was just ab pain. Could be from sucking in my gut every time a hot chick walked by....

You can actually percuss over your liver and you can tell where it is by the different sounds. You should generally start below your nipple and go down 1 fingerwidth at a time until you hear a dense sound...then keep going until it goes away. I think normal liver size is around 7 cm's but it can be a little larger than that and not be a problem. I haven't looked any of the exact numbers up, but if you think you're liver is hurting you just check to see the size of it. If it's significantly enlarged I might go get checked out, but if not no worries. I doubt it's anything too bad.

when i used to drink heavly the doc told me that my liver was the size of a watermelon and fatty, now its ok but damn that was scary to hear LOL but wtf does he know, him with his stupid md telling me i drink to much, what a dick right?

I believe the liver is on the right side not the left if I'm not mistaken so it may have been something else.
